Abstract
Purpose : To compare and analyze static and dynamic stereopsis before and after correction of distance subjective fixation disparity using tests of different designs.

Methods : Twelve (male 7, female 5) symptomatic subjects participated in this study.
Distance subjective horizontal associated phoria was corrected using MKH chart, chart projector cross. Distance static and dynamic stereoacuity and distance stereoscopic depth were measured before and after correction of fixation disparity for those subjects.

Results : Distance subjective horizontal associated phoria measured using MKH chart, chart projector cross test was 0.77¡¾0.53 ¥Ä, 0.29¡¾0.30 ¥Ä, respectively and showing that there were statistically significant differences between tests (p=0.011). The distance static stereoacuity before fixation disparity correction was 102.50¡¾73.99" and after fixation disparity correction using MKH chart, chart projector cross test was 42.50¡¾29.27" (p=0.003), 50.00¡¾44.52" (p=0.003), respectively. There was a significant decrease. The distance dynamic stereoacuity before fixation disparity correction was 24.46¡¾6.60" and after fixation disparity correction using MKH chart, chart projector cross test was 15.26¡¾7.61" (p=0.008), 17.56¡¾5.67" (p=0.019), respectively. There was a significant decrease. The distance stereoscopic depth before fixation disparity correction was 1,107.08¡¾52.72 mm and after fixation disparity correction using MKH chart, chart projector cross test was 1,136.08¡¾62.40 mm (p=0.002), 1,120.00¡¾51.52 mm (p=0.028), respectively. There was a significant increase.

Conclusion : There was a significant difference in the distance subjective associated phoria according to the test design, and the static and dynamic stereopsis after fixation disparity correction was significantly improved in both tests. Therefore, it is thought that distance subjective fixation disparity correction can have a positive effect on the improvement of stereopsis. In this study, stereopsis was relatively improved the most after fixation disparity correction using the MKH chart.
